Diaz explained the how the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 pickup trucks along with the Ram 5500 Chassis Cab were constructed, and what new details we can expect to find in them for 2013. The vehicles have improved their frames to offer some of the strongest trucks on the market thanks to quality Ram parts and overall build. In terms of power, it's the only truck in its segment to offer a six-speed manual transmission model that delivers up to 350 horsepower. That's in addition to a standard 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 383 horsepower, and a turbodiesel option on a 6.7-liter Cummins platform.
Not only that, but fuel economy has been increased by 10-percent among all Heavy Duty trucks and Chassis Cab vehicles in the series.
