The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has let us know that the problem lies in the parking brake system; a cable has not been set properly during production and results in the 1500 being unable to stay parked on a 20 percent grade. This could result in a roll away and cause damage to the vehicle and surrounding property, or injuries.
