Ram 1500 Trim Levels
The 2018 model of Ram 1500 is the single most versatile truck in its class when it comes to the level of customization you have. There are a full eleven Ram 1500 trim levels, including a brand new range-topping Limited Tungsten edition, and a new mid-tier Harvest edition trim.
Almost every trim is driven by a 3.6-liter V6 engine which gives you 305 horsepower with 269 lb.-ft. of torque. The Rebel, Laramie Longhorn and Limited trim levels come instead with a 5.7-liter V8 (395 hp and 420 lb.-ft.), with the option to upgrade to this engine on other trim levels. Every Ram trim has the option to be driven by a 3.0-liter V6 diesel at 240 hp and 420 lb.-ft.
Tradesman and Express
The Tradesman is an entry-level Ram, designed to be a workhorse. There's not much luxury here, but it does provide cruise control, spray-in bed liner and Class IV hitch receiver. The Express, likewise, is a work truck, but instead of the hitch and bed liner comes with special exterior color trim, 20-inch wheel, and interior carpeting. You can add the hitch and bed liner back in as options if you like.
Big Horn
Referred to as the Lone Star in Texas, the Big Horn gives you a 110v power outlet, automatic dual-zone climate control, and the Uconnect Access infotainment system with 8.4-inch touchscreen, 4G LTE hotspot, Bluetooth, Android and Apple integration, USB port, auxiliary jack and more. It also comes with leather steering wheel and power adjust seating.
Sport and Night Trim
The Sport and Night trim levels are similar, varying in physical appearance for the most part. They give you LED lighting inside, bucket seats, projector headlights, bigger wheels and special trim touches (the Sport gets body-colored exterior trim and the Night model is all black).
Harvest Trim
The Harvest model is geared towards agricultural work and gives you extra ground clearance, special all-terrain tire, black side-steps, tow hooks and skid plates, and special designed physical touches that mark it as the Harvest edition.
Laramie Level
Similar to the Big Horn, the Larmie also gives you special wood trim, auto-dim mirrors, heated and cooled front seats with leather upholstery, driver memory settings, and an upgraded 10-speaker sound system.
Larmie Longhorn
The Laramie Longhorn comes in the V8 engine, and gives you a great balance of performance and luxury. It adds keyless entry and keyless ignition, front and rear parking sensors, remote start, special wood touches, and upgraded leather upholstery as well as a GPS navigation system.
Limited
The range-topping Limited gives you special monotone color schemes with automatic high beams and wipers, side step bars, special self-leveling air suspension, and stitched leather upholstery.
