Eyeing up a Jeep Gladiator can be an exciting time in your car-buying journey, but perhaps you still have lingering questions. At Goss Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, we know how exciting buying a car can be. That's why we wrote up a review of the Jeep Gladiator interior for our friends and neighbors in Chittenden County, South Burlington, and St. Albans, VT.
Jeep Gladiator Infotainment
Technology in the Gladiator is designed to provide entertainment, along with convenient access to apps that go a step ahead. It comes equipped with Voice Command features, as well as available wireless connectivity, promising that your Gladiator is packed with cutting-edge features to improve your driving experience.
The Uconnect® system can connect to the wider world through three different available Uconnect® systems. This means that regardless of your current situation, there is an available outlet for you to communicate through and receive updates. Additionally, it includes the largest available touchscreen in its class.
Through the Uconnect® system, you can connect both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to your Gladiator. With either app, you'll be able to stay connected to the outside world while driving, but also have access to phone calls with friends, have your texts read back to you, and listen to music and podcasts.
Amazon Alexa is another feature at play. Teaching it the available Jeep Skill will allow you to check fuel levels, send an address to the Navigation system, and more, from the comfort of your house.
Finally, with the available option of SiriusXM Guardian™, you can interface with your Gladiator in new and fantastic ways, including remotely starting your vehicle, locking and unlocking doors, or activating the horn to locate your vehicle. There are additional features to explore, but we've made sure to highlight the important ones.
Jeep Gladiator Interior
When driving this type of Jeep, spaciousness is going to be an important concern. You'll appreciate legroom to stretch out in, either behind the wheel or in the rear passenger's seat. Feeling comfortable inside the cabin makes any adventure that much more enjoyable. The following measurements are presented with the front row first, followed by the second row:
- Headroom: 42.8 inches / 42.8 inches
- Legroom: 41.2 inches / 38.3 inches
- Shoulder Room: 55.7 inches / 55.7 inches
- Hip Room: 53.9 inches / 55.9 inches
You can see the generous amount of space the Gladiator gives you. As the driver, you'll have the ability to easily move around the cabin, quickly check a blind spot, or reach for something in the rear. On these adventures, cargo space is equally important. The Gladiator has a cargo volume of 35.5 cubic feet. That's enough to bring along the necessary materials for either work or recreation with room to spare.
Jeep Gladiator Convenience Features
The convenience features of the Gladiator are varied, with enough to satisfy just about every need. There is a standard manual air conditioning system for those long drives in the hot sun during summer. In addition, the added air filter will make sure no dirt or dust particles get into the cabin.
There are also two additional 12-volt DC power outlets located inside the cabin that can charge most, if not all, digital devices. Larger devices may take longer to charge.
Then there are the tilting-and-telescoping steering wheel features that give you options in how you'd like to take control of your Gladiator.
