The new 2017 Dodge Journey comes in two- or three-row configurations with respective seating capacities of five and seven passengers. This year it gets a brand new top-end trim level which replaces last year's R/T trim. The optional V6 engine provides plenty of power and the available 8.4 inch touchscreen is right in line with the best in the market.
The five trim levels available for the new Journey include the SE base trim, the SXT level, the Crossroad and the Crossroad Plains trims, and the range-topping GT level. It's available in front-wheel drive with a 4-cylinder engine or all-wheel drive with the V6, though at the GT level you can opt for 4-cylinder all-wheel drive.
Base SE Trim
The base level trim gives you the essential features upon which all the other levels build. At this level you get steel 17-inch wheels and roof rails, reclining and sliding second-row seating, manual height-adjustable driver seat, and tilt-and-telescope steering wheels. At this level you also get heated mirrors, cruise control, keyless ignition and entry, dual-zone climate control (manual), and a sound system with 4.3-inch touchscreen, six speakers, USB port and auxiliary jack.
Optional at this level you can get a Flexible Seating Package which gives you third row seating with tri-zone climate control.
SXT Trim
Stepping it up a bit to the SXT level gives you a few additional features like LED taillights, foglights, alloy wheels, the Flexible Seating Package, and special front fascia with body-colored mirrors on the exterior.
Crossroad Level
